Venture back to the 1950s at the Garter Belts and Gasoline Festival, a packed long-weekend of entertainment that celebrates all things vintage.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland, the festival attracts nostalgia lovers of all ages with its fantastic line-up of hot rods, custom cars, art, vintage fashion, classic movies and rockabilly, blues and honky tonk bands from all over Australia. Highlights to look forward to this year include a 50s Pin-Up Contest, the Friday Night Rockabilly Ball and even a soap box derby race!
It all takes place just 40 minutes drive from our Surfers Paradise family apartments from 3-5 May 2013. Come along and join in the fun!
