The annual Surfers Paradise Festival will kick off later this month and this year’s lineup looks sure to be the best yet.
Established to celebrate the Gold Coast’s blossoming cultural scene, the month long festival is one of the most loved events on the region’s calendar and shines a spotlight on the cream of local music, art and culinary expertise. Nearly all the events of the festival are free and take place in parks, beaches and public spaces close to Surfers Mayfair Surfers Paradise family apartments.
To kick things off in spectacular style, there will be a huge weekend long beach party on the iconic white sands of Surfers Paradise Beach featuring hot local and national bands and DJ talent. This year’s event will also see the return of the much anticipated A La Carte in the Park event in Lionel Perry Park, a huge picnic featuring cuisine cooked by the city’s finest chefs and live folk music.
Come and soak up the best of Gold Coast culture at Surfers Mayfair from 20 June – 14 July 2012.
